Union Square Dog Run is completely supported and maintained by the dog owners. This is your run so please lend a hand in keeping it clean.
What can you do?

1. Be sure to clean up after your dog. Don’t forget to tie the poop bag before you throw it into the trash garbage pail.
   -
2. When full, please empty the garbage pail. Plastic gloves are available in the black mailbox con tainer next to the pail. Tie the bag and place is outside the run next to any park’s department garbage can.

3. Please do not drop cigarette butts in the run. Dogs eat them. Please empty the ashtrays.

4. The park’s department works hard to take care of the plantings around the run. Please do not throw cigarette butts or garbage over the run fences.

5. Rake some stones out of the corners and into the center of the run.

6. Please walk around and pick up stray newspa pers, plastic and garbage.
   -
7. If you see poop that someone left behind please pick it up. Yes it’s a dirty job but better removed then tracked into
   your home.

If everyone pitches in just a little the run will
be noticeably cleaner and a more pleasant destination for the owners and the dogs.
Also, keep in mind that the run is funded and maintained solely by the dog owners.
